Editing & post-production
Edit, grade, captions, and the files you will actually post.
More
The shoot is half the job. The other half is a film that holds, a still that survives a thumbnail, and a caption that can be read on a phone in a queue.
We finish in one grade so the reel, the cutdown, and the carousel feel like the same place.
What the job includes
- 01Edit and a grade matched to the room's real light
- 02Sound, music, and a version that works with the sound off
- 03Burned-in captions and a transcript on longer films
- 04Stills selected from the shoot, not a separate stock look
- 05Exports named for the site, Reels, and Stories
Questions before a bid
- Can you finish footage another crew shot?
- Yes. Send the rushes and the one sentence the picture has to earn. We will say if the material can hold that sentence.
- How many versions do we get?
- The versions named in the bid. A master, the cutdowns, and the stills. Extra lengths are a change, agreed before the export.
- Who picks the music?
- We propose tracks we can license. If you have a song, we cut to it and flag the license before it is in the master.
- When do we see a cut?
- A first cut when the picture is readable, not when every frame is polished. You react to the story, then we finish.
If this is the job, send the runtime and the date. We will answer with a way to make it.
